Refund Policy

Last Updated: April 4, 2025

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for services provided by Mirror & Mosaic Educational Consulting, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services, you ("you," "the Client," or "the Customer") agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Principles

Due to the nature of educational consulting services, which often involve significant time, effort, and resources dedicated to each client, our general policy is that fees are non-refundable once services have commenced. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

2. Specific Service Types and Refund Considerations

The applicability of refunds may vary depending on the specific type of service provided, as outlined below and potentially further detailed in your individual Service Agreement:

  • Professional development experiences, program evaluation and climate surveys:

    • Refund policies for experiences, evaluation, and surveys will be specified at the time of registration. Typically, cancellations made a certain number of days prior to the event (e.g., 30 days) may be eligible for a partial refund or credit towards a future event, less an administrative fee.

    • No refunds will typically be provided for cancellations made within a shorter period or for non-attendance.

  • Self-paced professional development modules:

    • Refunds for self-paced professional development modules  are generally not provided once the session has taken place.

    • Pre-paid packages may have specific cancellation and refund policies outlined in a separate agreement.

  • Retainer Agreements:

    • Refunds for unused portions of a retainer fee may be considered upon termination of the agreement, subject to the terms outlined in the Service Agreement and deductions for services already rendered and any applicable early termination fees.

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, you must submit a written request via email to consultants@mirrorandmosaicedconsulting.com. Your request must clearly state the reason for the refund request, the date of service, the amount paid, and any supporting documentation.

4. Refund Review Process

Upon receiving your refund request, we will review it carefully and may request additional information. We will consider factors such as:

  • The nature of the services provided.

  • The amount of work completed by us.

  • The reasons for the refund request.

  • Whether reasonable efforts were made to address any concerns.

  • The terms outlined in the Service Agreement.

We will notify you of our decision regarding your refund request within 7 (seven) business days of receiving all necessary information.

5. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please allow 7 (seven) business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

6. No Guarantee of Results

It is important to understand that educational consulting aims to provide guidance, support, and strategies to help clients achieve their educational goals. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as admission to a particular school or a specific test score. Dissatisfaction with outcomes does not automatically qualify for a refund.

7. Amendments to this Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. The Refund Policy in effect at the time you engaged our services will generally apply to those services.
